Following the success of the Straight from the Heart concert, we are proud to thank Ross Taylor, the Blackcaps, and the New Zealand Warriors for their generous support of the event. Their donations of signed team jerseys are highly valued prices of sports memorabilia with all proceeds raised during their auction being used to support the purchase of a new ECMO machine for Waikato Hospital.
The Heart Trust acts to speed up access to world-class heart diagnostic and treatment services for people living in Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Thames/Coromandel, Taranaki, and Gisborne/Tairawhiti – also known as the Midland health region.
Working in partnership with hospitals and district health boards (DHBs) the Heart Trust helps provide up-to-date technology and services faster than the DHB can afford through normal funding channels.
Often the Government funding pool can’t meet the community’s needs fast enough. The Heart Trust helps bridge the gap so equipment and services are available sooner.
