This privacy policy covers how The Heart Trust, (“The Heart Trust”, “us”, “we” or “our”) treats personal information that it collects and receives on www.thehearttrust.org.nz or through our services, activities and operations. We use information shared with us for the sole purpose of running and improving our services, activities and operations. Any reference to “The Heart Trust”, "we", "our" or "us" in this privacy policy means The Heart Trust.

What information do we collect?

We may use Google Analytics or another similar third-party analytical service which may use cookies to track non-personally identifiable information about our visitors to our site for the purposes of monitoring usage and volume statistics. We have no access to or control over these cookies and this privacy statement does not cover the use of cookies by any third-party. 4. Log and session information - When you use www.thehearttrust.org.nz, we record logs of your visit. Emails may be in the form of The Heart Trust bulletins or other messages, either regular or ad-hoc, that are only relevant to The Heart Trust website. Any 'subscription' type emails have simple, effective 'Unsubscribe' facilities at the end of each message should you no longer wish to receive them.

In respect of donations made using the donations form on the website, the policies and terms of the operator(s) of the payments portal within our website will determine how these agencies deal with your information.

You should be aware that we are not responsible for the privacy policies or other content on websites linked to or from The Heart Trust website.  However, if you find privacy or content problems with websites linked to or from The Heart Trust website, we would appreciate being notified.

We reserve the right to change this policy at any time. Any changes will take effect immediately they are posted on The Heart Trust website.
