Who can apply?
Applications for funding are open to all Cardiology and Cardiothoracic Staff at Waikato Hospital, see our criteria below.
Public funding declined
The equipment, service or training has been declined by public funding channels or significantly delayed.
Not available at Waikato Hospital
The equipment, service or training is not currently available at Waikato Hospital.
Proven concept
If the service, equipment or training is not available in New Zealand elsewhere, it must be proven internationally to have signifcant benefits for heart patients to be considered.
Supported by Waikato Hospital
To ensure servicability Waikato Hospital staff will need to be engaged and on-board to deliver any new equipment, services or training.
