Computer software for the Cardiac Inherited Disease Registry 2011

Certain forms of serious heart disease are inherited. Computer software provided by The Heart Trust enables the Cardiology Unit to keep track of affected families in the Midland region and elsewhere in New Zealand. Family members at risk can be identified using database software, genetically tested and then given appropriate treatment.
